Whole Home Remodel

What started as a kitchen and mudroom remodel grew to a whole home remodel

This project began as a kitchen remodel and grew to include the entire home. The clients had lived in the home for 30 years. With their children grown and starting their own families the homeowners wanted a space to entertain for years to come. The original kitchen was outdated and the layout was awkward including a cooktop pushed into a corner. The living room was dark the floors in the hall and dining room were worn and damaged.

The master suite had a very small bathroom. The standing shower was raised to allow head room above the stairs which sit below. The bedroom had two reach in closets. The bedroom had a door to access unfinished attic space above the attached garage. This became a walk in closet with custom storage.

The basement had a cramped bland bathroom. Both the rec room and guest room were uninviting and unused. To bring the space back to life we relocated the bathroom to the large guest bedroom. In place of the bathroom we built a large bright laundry room with abundant storage and sink.
